Mission: To provide quality innovative and intensive instruction in English language arts and mathematics to students in the classes of 2003-2007 who have taken and not yet passed the 10th grade MCAS needed to complete the state required competency determination for high school graduation.
Bunker Hill Community College’s Pathways to Success MCAS Preparation Program
Pathways to Success prepares Boston and Boston-area students for the Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS) as well as provides higher education and career support for these students. This program is designed particularly for students and former students from the classes of ‘03, ‘04, ‘05 and ‘06 who have not yet passed the MCAS. Pathways to Success takes place at Bunker Hill Community College’s Charlestown Campus, where students receive individual and small group instruction for the Mathematics and English Language Arts components of the MCAS. In addition, a Career Specialist from The Work Place One-Stop Center is available to provide employment and/or career assistance, and Bunker Hill Community College representatives are available to provide higher education assistance.
Classes are held Monday through Thursday, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, and students from the Class of 2003 through the current academic year are eligible. For more information, contact Charles Fallon at 617-228-2289.
